Facebook, Instagram Restore Trump’s Accounts

Former President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has returned to the media much stronger as he launched a new website months after he was banned from using popular social media platforms.

It could be recalled that the Republican was banned by owners of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram in the aftermath of the January Capitol insurrection for allegedly violating its operational policies.

A report from CNN on Wednesday, March 31 confirmed that the former president and first lady, Melania Trump, launched a website to serve their personal offices.

Trump was quoted to have said that his new website, 45office.com, will be to educate and inspire Americans from all walks of life in the view of building a truly great American future. “The Office of Donald J. Trump is committed to preserving the magnificent legacy of the Trump Administration, while at the same time advancing the America First agenda,” states the website.

It added: “Through this office, President Trump will remain a tireless champion for the hardworking men and women of our great country – and for their right to live in safety, dignity, prosperity, and peace,”

Naija News understands that the website invites people to share their thoughts using an online form with Trump saying he and his wife, Melania, “enjoy hearing from the American people.”

However, the new website of the Republican made no mention of his two impeachment trials. Neither does it reference how “the coronavirus plague arrived from China.”

In another news, the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, advised Nigerians in the United Kingdom to occupy the London hospital where President Muhammadu Buhari plans to have a medical checkup.

Naija News reports that Sowore’s call was coming hours after the President left Nigeria for the United Kingdom for “routine medical leave”.
