Osinbajo Reveals What Will Happen To Those Who Want Nigeria To Break Up

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has declared that those praying for Nigeria to break up won’t succeed and will be disappointed.

This is as he noted that those praying and wishing for Nigeria to remain as one are more than those seeking a break up of Nigeria.

Osinbajo made the submission on Tuesday in Gombe State when he paid a courtesy call to the Emir of Gombe Alhaji Shehu Abubakar in his palace.

Naija News reports the Vice President was in Gombe for the 27th edition of the Micro Small Medium Enterprise Clinic which was held in the state.

“This country will remain one. Those praying for Nigeria’s break up will not succeed because those praying against such are much in number,” he declared.

On his part, the Emir commended the commitment of the Vice President to the growth of SMEs across all the states of the federation, saying; “I wish to commend the Federal Government for the establishment of one of the largest livestock reserves in Wawa-Zange, Gombe State.”

Also, the Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya noted that a lot of transformation has taken place in the state since the Vice President last visited them in 2019 during the campaigns for the general election.

The Governor pledged the commitment of his administration to supporting the federal government policies on SMEs.

He said, “Gombe State is the centre for commercial activities in the North-East which is the reason why it has gained a cosmopolitan status and assured that the State will give the Federal Government all the necessary support to fulfill their programmes.”

Meanwhile, the spokesman of Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho, Olayomi Koiki, on Tuesday, stormed schools to sensitize schoolchildren on the agitation for Oduduwa Republic.

One of Koiki’s representatives in a video on Facebook visited a primary school, with customized Oduduwa Republic books on which was written the proposed anthem and short notes on Yoruba culture.

The representative distributed books to the pupils.

Koiki’s representative was spotted in a classroom sensitizing over 20 pupils to the customs and traditions of the Yoruba nation.
