Nigerian Singer, Lala Dies Months After Obtaining His Masters Degree

Nigerian singer, Alayande Lola Oladapo Quam, better known as Lala has been confirmed dead.

The Idi Nla crooner reportedly gave up the ghost on Tuesday, March 23. A brother of the singer, Alayande Tunde Adisa who confirmed the sad development on social media disclosed that Lala died just a few months after obtaining his Master’s degree.

Naija News recalls that the singer came into the limelight years ago after featuring late rapper Dagrin, in his song titled ‘Idi Nla’.

Naija News understands that Lala graduated from Lagos State University department of Project Management seven years ago and returned to the citadel years later to study for his Master’s degree.

Lala was said to have finished his MSc program last year and was one of the graduating students in December 2020.

Meanwhile, Nigerian film actor, Godwin Maduagu whose alleged gay sex tape leaked on the internet last month has lamented over lost job opportunities.

The Nollywood actor took to his Instagram account to appeal to Nigerians to stop frustrating him, noting that he feels like committing suicide as he currently deals with the effect of the scandal.
