The former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has condemned the former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, for donating money to victims of the Katsina Central Market fire disaster.

Naija News had earlier reported that the APC leader donated the sum of N50m to victims of the fire disaster.

Tinubu on Wednesday visited the scene of the incident with the state Governor, Aminu Masari, to sympathise with the victims of the incident.

Omokri while reacting to Tinubu’s donation criticized him for not donating to victims of the Sasa market crisis in Oyo State and the Ijesha market fire victim in Lagos State.

The former presidential aide wrote, “Obviously, Tinubu’s charity does not begin at home.”

“Bola @AsiwajuTinubu, who didn’t visit or donate one kobo to victims of the Sasa market crisis, or victims of the Ijesha market fire in Lagos, has today donated ₦50 million to victims of the Katsina market fire. Obviously, Tinubu’s charity does not begin at home.”

In another development, Tinubu, has said he has a good and productive relationship with President Muhammadu Buhari.

It is rumoured that there is a crack in the relationship between Buhari and Tinubu and that the crack was tactically created to stifle Tinubu’s presidential ambition and pave way for another candidate to clinch the 2023 presidency.
