The Grand khadi of Taraba State, khadi Ahmed Bose, has died after a protracted illness.

Naija News understands that Khadi Bose died at the Federal Medical Centre, Gombe on Sunday.

Born in 1956, he held a Master’s Degree in Islamic studies from the University of Maiduguri.

He was the Head of Department, Islamic Studies College of Education, Jalingo and later transferred his service to the Taraba State judiciary.

Late Grand khadi was appointed director of Shari’a court of appeal in Taraba Judiciary in 1994 and rose to the position of Khadi of Shari’a court in 1998.

Late Ahmed Bose was appointed the grand Khadi of Taraba State in 2015

He was survived by four wives and 26 children and many grandchildren. Among his children are Fly Lt Nurudden Ahmed Bose and Lieutenant Isa Ahmed Bose among others.

He was buried on Monday in Jalingo, according to Islamic rites.
