The Oduduwa Republic has urged Kwara residents against causing unrest in the state in the name of religion.

Naija News reported earlier that Muslims and Christians clashed in Ilorin, the state capital on Wednesday over non-acceptance of wearing of Hijabs in Missionary schools in the state.

Stone-throwing and other violent acts were reported at a missionary school located inside a Church in the state capital.

Reacting to the development, the Oduduwa Nation took to its Twitter account to admonished Yoruba Muslims in the state to send their children to Muslim based schools if the Missionary schools maintained their stand against the debated dress code.

The Yoruba group warned the Muslim faithful not to allow Fulani people to cause disunity among them and their Christian brothers.
