'It Has Turned To Embarrassment' - PDP Queries Akeredolu For Ruling Ondo From Ibadan After Medical Leave

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo has asked his immediate past Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, to return official vehicles and government properties in his possession.

In a letter addressed to Ajayi and dated February 16, 2021, governor Akeredolu directed his ex-deputy to return the vehicles and other government properties in his possessions to the General Administration Department of the Governor’s office before 23rd February 2021.

The letter said Ajayi was said to still be in possession of some official vehicles attached to his former office.

According to the letter, Agboola was said to be in possession of one Land Cruiser SUV and two New Toyota Hilux.

Reacting, Agboola said he was yet to see a copy of the letter asking him to return the vehicles. He said he would respond appropriately.

Meanwhile, a housewife in Ogun State is on the verge of serving jail terms for allegedly killing her own child.

The report confirmed to newsmen by the State Police Command through its spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, alleged that one Mrs Bisola Awodele murdered and secretly buried her own child due to unfair treatment from her husband.

Speaking on the disturbing incident in Abeokuta on Sunday, March 14, the Police Public Relations Officer said Bisola’s husband, Mr Peter Philips had reported to the police station that his wife poured hot water on him.

According to Oyeyemi’s testimony, the woman accused her husband of being a drunkard, adding that he had shunned his responsibilities as husband and father.

Naija News learned that Bisola was delivered to the baby about eight months ago, but she ended the innocent child’s life and buried him due to frustration from the husband’s behaviour towards the family.
