We Are Not After Northerners, IPOB Tells Gumi

The Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has revealed that the Eastern Security Network (ESN) have captured a notorious bandits leader, Mohammed Isa and his gang.

In a statement to newsmen on Monday, the pro-Biafra activist commended the ESN for their work to rid the South-east of all forms of criminality.

According to Nnamdi Kanu, Isa has been terrorizing peaceful farming communities in Benue and nearby states.

The wanted IPOB leader also warned Miyetti Allah and their sympathisers to steer clear of all farmlands and forests in the zone.

“I commend men and women of the Northern Command of the EASTERN SECURITY NETWORK (ESN) for the successful capture of Mohammed Isa the notorious leader of bandits and killers in the Lower Benue,” Nnamdi Kanu said.

“This individual and his gang of murderers have been terrorising peaceful farming communities in Benue and nearby states.

“I reiterate my warning to Miyetti Allah and their sympathisers in Aso Rock that our noble quest to rid our land of all manner of criminality, ostensibly terrorists and killers, will continue unabated until our farmlands and forests are safe and secure.”
