Former Kaduna State senator, Shehu Sani has told state governors pushing for the presidency in 2023 what they must do first before they end up with regret.

The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain in a post on his Twitter account on Friday morning, March 5, said governors who are in their second tenure and are been pushed by some individuals to contest for the presidency, must first consult their family members and predecessors before they are led astray in the struggle.

Sani in his tweet described the country as complicated, urged the politicians to seek advice before concluding on contesting to or not.

His tweet reads: “If you are a Governor in your second tenure, and some people are pushing you to contest for the Presidency of this complicated country, seek the candid advice of your family who would bear the burden and consult your predecessors who were pushed by same people.”
