Makinde Reacts As Bishop Oke Emerges PFN President

Bishop Francis Wale Oke is new PFN president

The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, on Thursday congratulated the founder of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries International, Bishop Wale Oke on his emergence as the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.

Makinde who described the cleric as his father noted that his emergence as the PFN president was a good development for the Christian fold.

The Governor in a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa, noted that the PFN would experience progress under Oke’s leadership.

He said, “The emergence of my father in the Lord and one of the servants of God I have great regards for, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, as the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria is good news.”

“For anyone who knows Bishop Oke, his principles and strong belief in excellence, his selfless spirit and above all, his deep sense of patriotism, his choice to lead PFN at this trying times in the life of the nation is divine.”

“I congratulate the revered Man of God and the Pentecostal Fellowship on this development and I pray that Christ will continue to move the fellowship forward.”

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, also reacted to the emergence of the founder of Sword of the Spirit Ministries, Bishop Francis Wale Oke as new President, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN.

Buhari in a statement released through his spokesman, Femi Adesina, congratulates the entire body of Christ for the emergence of Wale Oke.
