Buhari Reacts As Bishop Wale Oke Becomes PFN President

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, reacted to the emergence of the founder of Sword of the Spirit Ministries, Bishop Francis Wale Oke as new President, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN.

Buhari in a statement released through his spokesman, Femi Adesina, congratulates the entire body of Christ for the emergence of Wale Oke.

The President also commended the outgoing President of the organisation, Dr Felix Omobude, for his continuous stewardship, intercessions in prayers for the nation and willingness to give wise counsels to leaders.

Buhari commended all participants at the meeting of the National Advisory Council of the organisation held at the Grace Cathedral, Enugu for electing the renowned preacher.

He urged the new leadership of PFN, all Christian leaders and the Church to continue upholding the country in prayers for peace and prosperity.

The President wished Bishop Oke and his team God’s favour on the new responsibility.
