NCDC Reports 542 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed five hundred and twenty-one new cases of COVID-19 disease in Nigeria.

The new cases of the novel virus for Monday, February 22 were reported in a post on the disease control agency’s Twitter handle on Wednesday morning at exactly 12:01 am, Naija News reports.

The newly reported cases bring the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 152,616 which includes 129,300 discharged cases and 1,862 deaths.

Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Lagos State having the highest number of cases with 99 followed by Kwara State with 91 cases.
