Update: NCDC Reports 1,572 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Nigeria
The Nigeria Center For Disease Control (NCDC) has given an update on the number of COVID-19 cases reported in Nigeria for Tuesday, 16th February, 2021.
It will be recalled as previously reported by Naija News that on Tuesday evening, 16th February 2021, confirmed 1,368 new cases of Coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.
The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the national health agency.
The report however didn’t include figures for Lagos State.
But the NCDC in an update on Wednesday reported 1,572 new cases for Nigeria after adding figures from Lagos.

This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 148,500 which includes 124,923 discharged cases and 1,779 deaths.
