How Primate Ayodele Predicted The Death Of Jakande

The leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Thursday, stated that he had earlier prophecied about the death of former Governor of Lagos State, Lateef Jakande.

The cleric in prophecy released on December 22, 2020, had noted that he foresees the death of a one-time governor in 2021.

He was quoted saying, “Let’s pray so we don’t see record the death of a Governor, a one time Governor, a Minister, Publisher, a Professor, a one-time President, and an Elder statesman.”

Naija News had earlier reported that the former Lagos State Governor, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, died on Thursday at the age of 91.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday mourned elder statesman and first civilian governor of the state, Alhaji Lateef Jakande who died on Thursday.

In a statement, the governor described Jakande’s legacy as “indelible”.

The statement partly reads, “With gratitude to God for a worthy life well spent in the service of Lagos State, Nigeria and humanity, I announce the death of a venerable statesman, outstanding politician, public administrator and the first Civilian Governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande.

“Baba Jakande’s record of service as a journalist of repute and a leader of remarkable achievements as governor of Lagos State will remain indelible for generations to come.

“His death is a colossal loss and he will be missed.
