Details Of Meeting Between Yahaya Bello And Fani-Kayode Emerge

The details of the meeting between Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and the former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, have emerged.

Naija News reports that the Kogi governor is reportedly set to contest in the 2023 presidential election and has been making moves to achieve his dream of becoming the next Nigerian leader.

Some North-Central groups have started rallying support for the governor, while the members of the state House of Assembly have been touring some state House of Assembly in North Central to campaign for the governor.

But in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Monday, Fani-Kayode said he paid a courtesy visit to the governor at the Government House, Lokoja, on Sunday, February 7, 2021.

The former minister said he visited the governor to discuss some issues concerning the latest happenings in the country.

Fani-Kayode said the visit which was a friendly one, provided a frank, candid, fruitful, and productive discussion about Nigeria.

The PDP chieftain called on all Nigerian politicians to come together without bitterness, and discuss ways to solve the challenges facing the country.

Fani-Kayode also urged Nigerians home and abroad to unite as one to save the country.

He wrote: “It was an honor to have spent quality time with my friend& brother Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi state last night. We had a frank, candid, fruitful& productive discussion about the way forward for our country.

“This is a clear case of politics without bitterness& of building bridges.

“This is a time that we as Nigerians must all come together as one to save our country.
