Coronavirus: NCDC Reports 1588 New Cases Of COVID-19

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed one thousand five hundred and eighty-eight (1,588) new cases Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Naija News reports that the new cases of the novel virus were reported on Saturday evening, February 6, 2021, via the official Twitter account of the NCDC.

This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 139,242 which includes 112,557 discharged cases and 1,647 deaths. Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Lagos State having the highest number of cases followed by Anambra State.
