Fulani Herdsmen Reportedly Kills 100 In Benue

Some criminal suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have killed a cousin to the Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu on new media, Gani Muhammed Ajowa.

The media aide to the Ondo State Governor in a post on his Facebook account on Friday identified his cousin as Dayo Ibiye.

Ajowa in his post wrote, “Fulani herders just killed my first cousin on his farm in Ajowa”

He added, “Dayo Ibiye, you were a man, how they got you is a surprise”

Recall that the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, a few days ago stated that Governors of the South-West have agreed to ban all forms of open grazing in the region.

Governor Makinde said the decision was reached at the meeting between governors, the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria and the security chiefs.

The meeting had in attendance Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Mohammed Abubakar of Jigawa State, and Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State.

This is coming at the time state government are complaining about kidnapping, raping and other crimes been committed by killer Fulani
