Lagos APC Woman Leader, Fausat Gbadebo Is Dead

Mrs Fausat Gbadebo, a former Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, has been reported dead.

Naija News understands that the All Progressives Congress (AP) woman leader of Lagos East Senatorial, gave up the ghost on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

Expressing her heartfelt, Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, Lagos APC Woman Leader, who visited the deceased family described Gbadebo as a patriotic and dedicated member of the APC.

She praised the deceased for standing for unity and playing an important role that favoured the lives of APC members and the masses.

She said: “We came here to eulogise her. The family should follow her footsteps and build on the legacies she left behind. She was a committed democrat with a deep understanding of the community’s political landscape.

“She never gave up on any responsibility. During the last election, we realised her efforts in ensuring that APC candidates emerged as winners of the Lagos East Senatorial District”.

Thomas prayed that God should comfort the family and as well grant the departed soul eternal rest.

Meanwhile, former Commissioner of Police, Yomi Onashile, has reportedly died of coronavirus (COVID-19) at the Olodo Isolation Centre Ibadan, Oyo State.
Naija News reports that the retired Police Commissioner has been receiving treatment at the Isolation Centre since January 24, 2021, before his death.
