Fourth Batch Of Nigerian Evacuees Arrive In Abuja From Sudan

The second batch of Nigerians stranded in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia has arrived in Abuja on Friday, Naija News reports.

The 419 returnees, who are part of the 802 Nigerians stranded in Saudi Arabia over expired visas, returned a day after 384 Nigerians stranded in the country were evacuated back to Nigeria.

The returnees who include 126 men and 293 females, including children, arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport onboard Saudi Arabia Airline SV-3413 at exactly 11:57 a.m.

The returnees were received at the airport by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will quarantine at the FCT Hajj camp for a period of 14 days in line with established COVID-19 protocols.

Thereafter, the ministry will facilitate their movement to their respective home destinations.
