World football governing body, FIFA has approved the request of some footballers to switch alleginace and play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Naija News understands that in total, FIFA approved the request of eight new players including Fulham forward, Ademola Lookman.

Below is the full list of players approved.

Meanwhile, former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo has dumped English Premier League side, Manchester United, after joining the Red Devils on loan during the summer transfer window.

Ighalo who confirmed the development on his Instagram account appreciated the club for giving him the chance to play for his dream club.

He took time out to appreciate the club manager, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, and his teammates for a great time at the club.

He wrote, “It’s so hard to see this dream come to an end. But I give God the glory for helping me fulfill this life long dream of putting on a Manchester United shirt as a player and represent this great club, it was indeed an honour I will forever cherish and be grateful for.”
