25 Armed Men Intercepted In Oyo

Twenty-five armed men have been intercepted by some youths in Ido area of Ibadan.

It was disclosed that the men arrested by the youths are Hausa and the development has raised concern in the area.

The men after they were stopped stated that they hunt around Eruwa, but after a search on the mini-truck they were in, it was discovered that they all had Dane guns.

A source added that the men have been handed over to the police in the area after they were stopped by youths in Eruwa from entering into the town.

The armed men were said to have been driven to the Police Headquarters in Eleyele Ibadan for investigation.

As at the time of filing this report, the police are yet to confirm the development.
