What Apostle Suleman Said About Xenophobic Attacks On Nigerians

The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman has denied knowledge of any probe by the Inspector-General of Police over allegations of sleeping with another pastor’s wife.

The cleric spoke for the first time since the issue of an allegation on sleeping with Pastor Faith Edeko came into the public domain.

Pastor Edeko is the wife of Pastor Mike Davids who says he was a pastor with one of the churches under Omega Fire Ministries before he walked away in 2019.

However, reacting to the developing saga, Apostle Suleman denied knowledge of any probe by the Police IG, taking to his verified Twitter account where he wrote:

“IGP orders probe on me? Where, when? Maybe my ghost. Just reading stories now. Please discard. There is no such thing.” Bad press really sells fast,” he tweeted.

It will be recalled Pastor Mike Davids had accused the Apostle of sleeping with his wife, threatening his life and denying him access to his children.

To this end, the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has ordered an investigation into the matter based on a petition submitted by V.C Ezenagu & Associates on behalf of the aggrieved Pastor Davids who made the allegations against Apostle Suleman.

The IGP’s order was conveyed in a letter dated January 5, 2021, with reference number CB:7000/IGP.SEC/ABJ/Vol.515/561, signed by his Principal Staff Officer II, ACP Iliya Doma, and addressed to the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Force Intelligence Bureau, Garki.

Meanwhile, the woman Apostle Johnson Suleman is accused of sleeping with Pastor Faith Edeko, who heads the Abuja branch of Omega Fire Ministries in Utako has debunked the allegations.

The cleric also debunked the alleged threat to life and obstruction of access to children, levelled against Apostle Suleman, by her ex-husband, Pastor Mike Davids.

Pastor Faith during an interview with Vanguard Monday, described the allegation levelled against the cleric as cheap blackmail to tarnish the image of the Apostle Suleman.

She further stated that she had never slept with anyone nor would she ever try such an act.
