Police Officer Caught Trying To Implants Marijuana In Man’s Car In Enugu – [Videos]

An Enugu State man has appeared in a viral-video challenging an officer of the Nigeria Police Force for allegedly trying to implant packs of marijuana in his car.

The man who identified himself as Lucky Onwurah reported that the incident happened around Oji river in Enugu state.

He alleged that the officer after it was clear to him that he was caught, threatened to shoot them including their mother. The name of the accused officer is given as Alex Okolo and the number plate of the car the police officers drove was as well noted as Abuja RSH578TH. 

Sharing details of the awful event, Onwurah wrote: “Some bad elements of NPF(Mopol) on illegal duty on Passat salon wagon with plate no Abuja RSH578TH tried to implant Indian hemp (Igbo) in our car at Oji river after a supposedly stop and search but thank God we caught him red-handed with his partner. His name is Srg. Alex okolo.”

“Disappointed we caught him, next is pointing a gun at us and threatening to shoot us including my mother, we refused to back down, we also caught his partner still trying to implant another pack of Igbo in our car just to prove the first was not a fluke.

“Only God knows the number of innocent victims who have suffered this thuggery and anarchy.

Advising citizens on how to avoid been implicated by some bad police officers on their supposed stop and search, Onwurah said: “shine your eyes whenever police want to search ur vehicle no matter the distraction as their first trick is to distract u and implant the marijuana in your luggage.

“Stay in a position where you can see his hand clearly during search, no matter how he tries to obstruct your view. Always Insist on one officer searching your car at a time, not two or more(very important).

“Make a video and send to someone immediately if they start threatening your life, these people can do the unthinkable.”

In another news, a mother of two in Ogun State has accused some officers of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS at the Zonal Intervention Squad of killing her husband over N200 voucher.
Recalling the event, Mrs Adebimpe Sobowale while appearing before the Ogun State Panel of Inquiry on police brutality and human rights violations on Tuesday, January 19, said the father of her children died after spending many hours in the police cell.
