President Muhammadu Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, has reacted to the impeachment of United States President Donald Trump.

The presidential aide on Wednesday, January 13 took to her verified Twitter account to propose that anyone found instigating violence in Nigeria should be dealt with henceforth.

Naija News recalls that the US House of Representatives on Wednesday for the second time impeached President Trump.

The Republican was voted out with 232 votes against 197 by members of the assembly. The House Democrats were able to secure the support of 10 GOP lawmakers to impeach Trump.

Reacting to the development on her Twitter page, Onichie tweeted: Onochie tweeted: “President Donald Trump has been impeached for a record 2nd time in the history of America for instigating an insurrection.

“In America, its insurrection. In Nigeria, they called it freedom of speech. There ought to be consequences for those who instigate violence in our nation.”
