Ondo Pastor Sentenced To Prison For Raping, Impregnating Tenant

A self-acclaimed pastor in Adamawa has been accused by one Mr Eli Daniel of having a sexual relationship with his wife.

The man who is said to be a staff of the Federal Ministry of Power in Abuja alleged that one pastor, Ebenezer Otinjele, has been sleeping with his legally married wife for four years.

Naija News understands that Daniel reported to the police that his wife, Juliana Daniel had two children with the pastor who works in the same office with her. The Girei self-acclaimed clergy was charged with adultery, causing abortion, criminal trespass and threat to life.

Daniel said though his wife had vowed to him that the two children at their care are his, but that he never believed, alleging that she had met with Pastor Otinjele in different places, including even in their matrimonial home when the children were away at school.

Confirming the incident, the Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Suleiman Nguroje said the accused clergy and Mrs Juliana have been arrested sequel to a petition by one Barr Sule J Abdul, a counsel to Mr Daniel, Juliana’s husband.

Mr Eli Daniel’s petition, with Reference Number SJA/SRL/VI/21/1, alleges “Acts of abatement conspiracy, causing abortion, criminal trespass, adultery and threat to life contrary to sections 49,61,203,339, 374 and 383 (2) of Adamawa state Penal Code Law perpetrated by Ebenezer Otueke and Juliana Eli Daniel.”

Naija News understands that Mrs Juliana is a staff of Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC) and works directly under the accused pastor Ebenezer Etinjele, the company’s Business Manager in Yola.

Reports had it that Daniel wedded Juliana on April 6, 2002,, at the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) headquarters in Numan and have five children, including the two now being disputed.

It was reported that Mr Daniel himself secured the job for his wife at the YEDC in 2016 and that she was posted to Yola Business unit and deployed to work in the office of the Business Manager, Ebenezer, where they started their condemnable affair.

However, the two are still in police detention as an investigation into the matter is still ongoing.

Meanwhile, an Ondo State resident identified as Peter Moses is at the verge of spending years in prison for allegedly impregnating his own daughter.

Naija News reports that the 36-year-old resident of Asewele Korede, a town in Odigbo Local Government Area of the state had unlawful sexual intercourse with his child who is reported to be of age 17.
