Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, on Tuesday, noted that his team is ready to clash with last season champions, Liverpool on Sunday.
The match between the Red Devils and Jurgen Klopp’s men would be a major determinant of the club which stays at the top of the Premier League table.
Manchester United moved three points clear of Liverpool on Tuesday after defeating Burnley with a deflected strike from Paul Pogba.
Solskjaer while speaking on his side’s position said, “It’s a brilliant position to be in.”
“We know we are going to the champions, they’ve had an unbelievable three-and-a-half season, we know that’s going to be a difficult game, but we’re ready for it.”
“We couldn’t be going there at a better time to play them because we are in good shape, good form, hungry, these boys want to get better and that’s a test again.”
The Red Devils earn three points to top their rival club after a 71 minutes goal from Paul Pogba.
