Delta: Suspected Armed Robbers Kill General Overseer

Suspected armed robbers on Tuesday shot the General Overseer of Kingdom Advancement Christian Centre in Warri, Delta State, Kelvin Orumor.

The cleric was killed at Edjeba area of Warri South Local Government Area on Tuesday.

A source which spoke on the incident disclosed that the cleric was hit by a bullet during an operation by the gang at a shopping complex in a neighbourhood where he was.

Orumor was confirmed dead at a government hospital where he was rushed to.

“We heard he walked into them when they were robbing a plaza. They shot him. He died before he got to the hospital,” the source disclosed.

In a related development, a lecturer of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike Ikwo, Ebonyi State, Kyrian Nwoke, has been found dead with bullet wounds.

The deceased until his death was a lecturer in the Department of Physiology in AE-FUNAI.
