AY Makun Becomes Social Media Most Followed Comedian In Africa

Popular Nigerian Comedian Ayo Makun popularly called AY has declared himself as the most followed comedian in Africa.

The comedian and actor made the claim in a social media post on Monday, 11th January.

He gave the breakdown of his social media followership across various platforms as 2million followers on Twitter, 6.8million followers on Facebook, 10million followers on Instagram, and over 740k subscribers on YouTube.

Meanwhile, Naija News previously reported that former Big Brother Naija reality TV show star, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha has hit out at TV host, Hero Daniels over his support for celebrities and stars.
The TV host in a Twitter post had urged netizens to stop the habit of trolling celebrities and questioning every one of their actions.

He noted that they are also normal human beings who should be allowed to live their lives without unnecessary pressure.

However, one of Tacha’s fans, known on the internet as ‘Titans’ was quick to call out the TV host for partialty, reminding him that he once denied their queen an interview in favour of another preferred celebrity.

Quoting the fan’s response, Natacha herself dragged the Daniels for his comment, lashing out at him as a ‘lame hypocrite.’
