If FAAN Is Moved To Lagos, The Ministry Of Commerce Should Move To Onitsha Or Kano - ACF Tells Tinubu

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has advised the Department of State Services (DSS) to arrest persons allegedly plotting to incite religious violence in some states.

Naija News had reported that the Nigerian secret police raised an alarm that some individuals are plotting to incite religious violence in Sokoto, Kano, Kaduna, Plateau, Rivers, Oyo, Lagos, and some South-east states.

In a statement on Monday titled ‘Plots to incite religious violence in Nigeria’, signed by its spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, the DSS warned that some worship centres and religious leaders may be attacked.

The intelligence agency also accused some individuals of working with external forces to incite religious violence in the country.

Reacting to the alarm, the ACF through its spokesman, Emmanuel Yawe, condemned the alleged plot, and asked the secret police to quickly arrest the culprits and prosecute those behind the “satanic plans.”

He also asked the DSS to swing into action and stop the plan before it is too late, noting that Nigeria already has too many problems to contend with.

“Since the DSS is claiming they are aware of the plan, we expect them to act swiftly and arrest and prosecute the people behind the satanic plans.

“Nigeria already has too many problems. They should help the country and abort this one before it is too late,” Yawe told THISDAY.
