An attack on a village in northern Cameroon by Boko Haram jihadists on Friday left thirteen civilians, eight of them children.

A traditional chief and a police officer confirmed to Nigeria News that the killing was done after a woman suicide bomber blew herself up.

NIMC Workers Suspend Strike To Begin NIN Registration

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) workers on Friday suspended the industrial action which they embarked upon on Thursday over the fear of COVID-19 spread in the agency.

According to The Punch, the workers suspended their strike after a meeting with the Federal Government, where it was agreed that the demands of the employees would be addressed.

NIN To SIM Cards: Pantami Reveals Simple Ways To Get Linking Done

Nigeria’s Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami, has revealed more easy ways by which citizens can link their National Identification Number to their SIM cards.

Appearing on Channels TV Politics today, the minister revealed that seven SIM cards can be linked to just one NIN without an issue.

Edo: Court To Decide Obaseki’s Fate January 9

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja will deliver judgement in the alleged certificate forgery case filed against the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, by the All Progressives Congress and a chieftain of the party, Edobor Williams, on Saturday.

The presiding judge, Justice Ahmed Mohammed fixed Saturday after lawyers to both parties adopted their final written addresses.

Buhari Reveals When Boko Haram, Bandits Will Be Defeated

President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that Boko Haram insurgents and bandits in the northwest will be defeated before the year 2021 ends.
