EndSARS: ‘We’ve Started Rebuilding Of Lagos’ – Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, says his government has started rebuilding properties destroyed during the #EndSARS protests.

Speaking to State House correspondents on Thursday after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Sanwo-Olu said the rebuilding process would take a while to finish.

Buhari Directs Reversal Of Increased Electricity Tariff

The Federal Government has directed the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) to inform all Electricity Distribution Companies (DISCOs) to reverse to tariffs that were applicable in December 2020.

Naija News reports that the directive was made known in a statement by Aaron Artima, the Senior Special Adviser, Media and Communications to the Minister of Power, Mr Saleh Mamman, on Thursday.

Edo: Ize-Iyamu Reacts As Court Disqualifies Him And His Running Mate

The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the September 19, 2020 election in the state, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has reacted to the ruling of the Edo State High Court sitting in Benin, which disqualified him and his running mate, Gani Audu.

The ruling was passed by the court on Wednesday three weeks after the Federal High Court, Abuja cleared Ize-Iyamu’s running mate.
