I Am Too Wealthy To Steal Nigeria Resources - Orji Uzor Kalu

Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu, on Thursday, stated that the ruling All Progressives Congress is growing stronger ahead of the 2023 elections.

The former Governor of Abia State stated this at his country home in Igbere when he welcomed thousands of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faithful into the APC.

The lawmaker representing Abia North senatorial district received the defector on behalf of the State Chairman, Donatus Nwankpa, and the National Caretaker Committee Chairman, Governor Mai Buni.

Kalu while speaking at the meeting called on the new members to work for the party’s victory in the next general elections.

He described APC as a disciplined party that prioritizes the welfare of the citizens.

“We are a party that encourages people to pay workers’ salaries, pensions, build roads and take care of society. Our business is to think and work toward the welfare of Abia, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Anambra people and Nigerians.”

“Today is a remarkable day. I welcome you to this great party, which is for all Nigerians. We believe that this party will make all of us proud. The party believes in the rule of law; it believes things should be done well and believes in Nigerians.”

Kalu added that the defection of the PDP members confirmed the APC is the best for Abia and the country.
