The Akwa Ibom Police Command has arraigned some officials of the Deeper Life High School in Uyo for their alleged role in the sexual molestation and forced starvation of Don Davis.

The police arraigned the suspects before a High Court in Uyo, following their investigation of the petition by the mother of the student, Deborah Okezie, against the school principal, Ndidi Solomon, and three others.

Naija News had reported that some officials of the school were detained after attending a meeting at the police headquarters, Uyo, summoned by the Commissioner of Police, Andrew Amiengheme.

In her petition, Okezie alleged that some senior students of the school assaulted and molested his son repeatedly after the principal moved him to their dormitory for urinating on his bed.

She had also claimed that her son told her the students used to push their hands and legs into his anus while also threatening to kill him if he reported to his parents or the principal, sparking outrage and investigation by the police.

She had thereafter narrated how she was attacked at the office of the Commissioner for Education in the state, Enobong Mbobo, who had invited her and her son for questioning on the instruction of the state government.

Meanwhile, journalists were barred from covering the court proceedings.
