Popular Nigerian musician, Paul Okoye, better known as Rudeboy, has recovered from Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Naija News had reported that Rudeboy, a former member of the defunct P-Square, had revealed that he tested positive for the deadly COVID-19 and had been battling with the virus for ten days.

He also urged his fans to always observe the COVID-19 guidelines as recommended by the federal and state governments and maintain proper hygiene.

Okoye called on Nigerians who hardly believed the existence of the virus to take precaution as the virus is real. The singer noted that having coronavirus is worst than any sickness ever.

However, in a new post via his verified Instagram page on Wednesday, Okoye confirmed that he has recovered from the virus after 11 days.

The singer, who made the announcement known to his 7.1 million followers, added that he is better and stronger.

“Happy new year all 2021 pls don’t overhype it ohhhh abeg …… just take it easy as it comes na over hype spoil 2020 I’m better, stronger, tested negative after 11days,” he captioned the post with a photo of himself.
