Popular Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, of the defunct Psquare group, has tested positive for Coronavirus.

The development was disclosed by the singer on his Instagram account on Tuesday morning.

The singer called on Nigerians who hardly believed the existence of the virus to take precaution as the virus is real.

He wrote, “ATTENTION! Fu*kit ! COVID-19 is REAL !!! I know as typical Nigerian or African, it’s very hard to believe. Some will say, “experience is the best teacher. Oh well, the experience and the teacher have visited me, and they’ve been dealing with me for more than 10 days now.”

Paul further stated that having coronavirus is worst than any sickness ever, he charged Nigerians to be careful.

“This is not funny. It is the worst sickness ever! You all better be careful out there. If you like, believe me, if you like don’t believe me. You can as well wait for your own experience by playing ignorance. Goodluck. God help us all.”

Meanwhile, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has maintained that the federal government is not planning to impose another lockdown as the country battles the second wave of covid-19.

Mohammed made the submission on Monday in Lagos State during a conference where he responded to speculations that the government may impose another national lockdown as a result of the recent upsurge in cases of coronavirus infections in the country.
