Actress Elvina Ibru Tests Positive For COVID-19
Popular Nollywood actress and On-Air Personality, Elvina Ibru, has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
She took to her Instagram page on Monday to share a video where she narrated her experience since contracting the virus.
Ibru also slammed those saying that COVID-19 is a scam or joke, saying anyone who claims COVID-19 is a scam is a “fool”. The actress added that the virus is real and deadly.
The actress called on Nigerians to adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines put in the place by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and the Lagos State Government
She said the need to heed to the protocols became necessary amid a second wave of the pandemic, which is said to be deadlier than the first wave.
Ibru, however, enjoined Nigerians to distance themselves from those who still think that the coronavirus pandemic is a scam.
The actress stressed that she is strong and in good condition, saying that the story is not palatable for others who have died from the virus.
