Tinubu Is Sick And Hospitalized In Paris – Fani-Kayode Claims

Nigerian politician, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has claimed that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is sick.

He added in a tweet on Sunday evening on his verified Twitter account that Tinubu is currently receiving treatment in a hospital located in Paris, France.

While adding that it is not a crime for anyone to fall ill, Fani-Kayode prayed that God should grant him a speedy recovery.

He wrote: “I have been informed that BAT is ill & is in a Paris hospital. It is not a crime to be ill & neither should it be a state secret. All mortals fall ill from time to time. I join others in praying for him& I wish him well. May God grant him a speedy recovery & a safe journey home.”

It will be recalled speculations had emerged that Asiwaju Tinubu contracted the coronavirus disease and is being managed in a hospital in France.

However, earlier, Naija News had reported on Sunday that Tinubu’s spokesperson, Tunde Rahman had denied that his principal is sick and hospitalized in France.

Rahman while speaking on the report noted that his principal is very okay and not in France but London.

He also refuted the claim that the APC leader is battling with COVID-19.

The spokesperson of the former Governor of Lagos State in his reaction to the speculation said, “that’s a lie from the pit of hell. Asiwaju is very okay. He is very fine and not sick.”

“He does not have COVID-19. If you must know, we have done COVID-19 test 15 times, each time he felt we had travelled and mingled with many people and could be vulnerable even though he always wore his face mask, but he has been certified negative 15 times.”

“Yes he is abroad. Not in France, but in London resting. So you can see the falsity in that information you talked about. Thank you.”
