Winner of the 2019 Big Brother Naija “pepper dem” show, Mercy Eke has denied testing positive for COVID-19.
The Imo State-born reality show star and actor in a Twitter post on boxing day, December 26 disclosed that if she were positive, she would have disclosed it herself.
She added that those trying to spread rumours of her testing positive to the virus and infecting other celebrities are only trying to damage her good personality.
Mercy, however, disclosed that truly, she took the test for the virus but the result returned negative.
Below is what the 27-year-old wrote in a series of tweets:
“I can’t even fathom how people will be so wicked and blinded by hatred and jealousy to always try to tarnish my image , I don’t have #COVID and COVID is not a death sentence like y’all are making it look” @VedicLifecare
confirmed me negative lets spread love.”
“If I have #Covid I will be the one to tell y’all, as we approach 2021 let’s be more positive Folded hands merry Christmas and a happy positive new year Christmas tree. Love y’all.”
Meanwhile, veteran Nollywood star actress, Rita Dominic has unveiled the face of the man believed to be her new lover.
The actress showed off Fidelis Anosike, Daily Times publisher in a photo released on her Instagram page on Saturday, 26th December.
The photo, which showed the two of them in matching outfits has been attracting lots of congratulatory messages and reactions from fans and followers.
Sharing the photos, Dominic wrote: “Merry Christmas” and added the “love and kiss emojis”.
