Nigerian controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has alleged that 2020 Shiloh programme organized by Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church has caused a spike in cases of COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the single mother of three in a post on her Twitter account on Thursday, December 24, an employee of the Church has spread the dreaded virus.

Olunloyo noted that the yearly programme which was started 8th of December 2020 must be the reason why Ituah Ighodalo, the Senior Pastor of Trinity House called on the Federal and State Governments to shut down churches.

Naija News recalls that Ighodalo had asked the government to close down churches if the measure would help control the increase in COVID-19 cases in the country.

Accusing the Nigerian megachurch and its Bishop of causing a spike in the cases of the novel virus, Olunloyo wrote: “There is a church #Covid19 outbreak which many pastors are silent about. Oyedepo’s #Shiloh2020 . This must be why Ituah Ighodalo said the Feds Should close down churches if need be. An employee has spread #coronavirus there.”
