Ondo: Teenager Dies After Smoking ‘Colorado’

A 17-year-old teenager identified as Joshua has reportedly lost his life after smoking a high dose of suspected colorado.

Information gathered disclosed that the incident occurred on Sunday at Oba-Ile in Akure North Local Government.

Eyewitnesses who spoke on the incident noted that the deceased usually smoke the substance with his friends.

It was reported that Joshua went into a coma after puffing it three times, in order to get high.

The sources said he was in a coma for two days and was rushed to hospital when he didn’t wake up after two days.

Colorado is a synthetic drug and users are said to lack control over certain parts of their bodies after smoking it.

Meanwhile, a mother of five in Ebonyi State has reportedly killed herself over the difficulty in meeting her children’s need.

It was reported that the resident of Okposi in Umuoghara community of Ezza North Local Government Area of the state, Ifeoma Otubo took her own life after lamenting over the inability to cater for herself and her children.
