The incident has been confirmed by the Chief of Staff to the Hon Chairman, Rafi Local Government, Mallam Mohammed Mohammed.

He added that members of the community have been forced to escape into the nearby forest out of fear of being attacked.

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani also tweeted about the incident on Monday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Nigerian social media users continue to criticize Nigeria’s presidential Spokesperson, Femi Adesina.

This follows a recent interview he granted on a Nigerian television station in which he said Nigerians should be thankful to his principal, President Muhammadu Buhari for combatting insecurity.

“There could be five, six bombings in one day. Now, you can have two, three months with no single case of bombing. Let’s be thankful for small mercies. Any mercies we receive, let’s be thankful for it, and let’s not dwell on negatives alone.” said Femi Adesina.
