Coronavirus: Gov. Sanwo-Olu Directs Civil Servants To Work From Home, Extend Ban On Worship Centres

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday directed all civil servants from Grade Level 14 and below in the state to work from home.

Governor Sanwo-Olu in the statement released also directed all worship centres not to exceed two hours in their services.

Buhari Meets Kankara Schoolboys

Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari, is currently in a meeting with the students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, in Katsina State.

Naija News had earlier reported that the abducted students were released on Thursday evening, a development which was confirmed by the state Governor, Aminu Masari.

FG Issue Fresh Directives To Worship Centres, Markets, Offices, Others

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Malam Muhammad Bello, has said all regulations issued as conditions for re-opening of places of worship in June still remains intact.

DHQ Claims Responsibility For Kankara Schoolboys Rescue

The Defence Headquarters on Friday disclosed that the troops rescued the abducted students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State.

The spokesperson of DHQ, Maj. Gen John Enenche, in a statement released on Friday, noted that the military has kept its promises of ensuring the rescue of the students.

Kankara Abduction: Garba Shehu Apologises For Claiming 10 Schoolboys Were Kidnapped

President Muhammadu Buhari‘s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Friday apologised for claiming ten students were abducted from the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Kastina State, last Friday.

The presidential aide during an interview with Hausa Service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), had claimed that only ten students of the school were abducted.
