Uche Secondus accused of receiving N250m from Dasuki

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, stressing that every facet of life in the country has collapsed.

The PDP was reacting to the abduction of 333 students of the Government Science Secondary School (GSSS), Kankara, Katsina State by bandits last Friday.

Speaking in Bauchi during the launch of “renewal projects,” the National Chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus, urged the federal government to declare a state of emergency on insecurity.

He stated that Nigeria was not only undergoing serious distress but was in a confused state under the present administration.

He said: “Nigeria is in crisis. Nigeria is confused. The only way out is for the PDP to get back to power and rescue Nigeria when the time comes.

“The economy is bad. Security is bad. Virtually every facet of life has collapsed. Let the President release our boys. If we were to be in power, we would have declared a state of emergency.”

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Military has stated that it was not in negotiation with the abductors of over 333 students of GSSS.

The Coordinator, Defence Media Operation, Maj. Gen. John Enenche made this known while addressing newsmen at the Army headquarters in Abuja.

He stated that negotiating with kidnappers, bandits or terrorists was not part of the modus operandi of the Nigerian military.

General Enenche assured that the security forces would rescue the schoolboys from their abductors soon.
