Rescue Of kidnapped Katsina Schoolboys A Big Relief - Buhari

The abducted students of the Government Science Secondary School in Kankara, Katsina State have regained freedom from their Boko Haram abductors.

The students were released by their kidnappers at about 2.20 pm on Thursday afternoon, Naija News understands.

Having been abducted on Friday, December 11, the students can now breathe an air of freedom again after six nights in captivity.

The development was confirmed by the Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

She took to her Twitter account and wrote:

Yaaaay . The 333 boys captured in katsina have been rescued . Allhamdulilah !@MBuhari administration has brought back our boys ????. #BringBackOurBoys . Our boys are back

This is coming after Boko Haram terrorist group released video evidence that the kidnapped students from Government Secondary School, Kankara in Katsina State are in its custody.

The video footage was released on Thursday, 17th December showing some of the students in the background and their captors are willing to negotiate with the government for their release.
