FG Reveals Date To Begin Evacuating Nigerian Students From Sudan

The Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has distanced herself from a post on Twitter announcing the release of Katsina schoolboys.

According to Vanguard, Dabiri-Erewa said she lost control of her Twitter and Instagram accounts for some minutes.

She wrote: “Pls don’t credit any post on katsina boys to my Twitter handle. I lost control of my handle in the last couple of minutes, along with my Instagram. I have recovered and changed my password”

Dabiri in a tweet earlier on Thursday had claimed the abducted schoolboys have been released.

She had earlier took to her Twitter account and wrote: “Yaaaay . The 333 boys captured in katsina have been rescued. Allhamdulilah !@MBuhari administration has brought back our boys ????. #BringBackOurBoys . Our boys are back”

Recall that Boko Haram terrorist group had released video evidence that the kidnapped students from Government Secondary School, Kankara in Katsina State are in its custody.

The video footage was released on Thursday, 17th December showing some of the students in the background and their captors are willing to negotiate with the government for their release.
