US: Biden Appoints Nigerian As White House Counsel

The presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, Joe Biden, on Monday was elected by the US Electoral College as the next president of the United States of America.

The former Vice-President in the election held on November 3 had 302 votes while Trump had 232 votes.

Biden on Monday clinched the Electoral College victory with California’s 55 votes.

Following this development, the coast is now clear for Biden to become the 46th president of the United States.

As at the time of filing this report, the United States President, Donald Trump is yet to react to the development.
