Former Manager of the Italian side, Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri, has been identified as a possible replacement for Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, who has been facing a tough time at the club.
The North London side are currently 15th in the Premier League after 11 games. According to Football.London, the Spaniard could be on his way out of the Emirate.
Arteta is going through a tough time following the Gunners’ defeat to Tottenham in the North London Derby at the weekend.
Allegri who left Juventus in 2019 has shown interest to work in England.
He said, “I would like to experience the Premier League.”
“In Italy, I was in Milan for four years. Five years in Juventus. Now I expect (to work again) in Italy, but it is difficult or in England”
Football.London added that Allegri might sign players such as Paul Pogba and Paulo Dybala.
Dybala, who turned down moves to Manchester United and Tottenham last season, is now out of favour under Andrea Pirlo at Juventus.
