Six Killed As Gunmen Invade Imo Community

There was serious drama in Ohorhe community, Uvwie council area of Delta state, on Tuesday as kidnappers abducted two teachers in military uniform from Ohorhe Secondary School.

According to The Nation, the suspected kidnappers gained access into the school in a gold-coloured Highlander SUV.

Further report revealed that the gunmen hovered in the school compound for over 15 minutes, before entering into one of the staff rooms and abducted the teachers.

The school management noted that it thought the gunmen were military officers because of their military uniform

The gunmen were four in number, but only three stepped out to abduct the teachers.

A source which spoke on the incident disclosed that the gunmen threatened to shoot at the community youths who tried to confront them.

A source in the school said, “the gunmen were dressed in military uniform. They were four in the Jeep including the driver. They were there for about 15 minutes.”

“They threatened to kill us if any of us shout. Teachers and students were afraid of being killed. They were armed with good guns”.

Naija News had earlier reported that suspected kidnappers abducted a lawmaker in the Taraba State House of Assembly, Bashir Mohammed.

The lawmaker was abducted at his residence.
