Man Bags His PhD At 65 To Challenge His Daughter

A young lady identified as Maria Uloko MD on the micro-blogging site has shared an inspiring story of her father who struggled to obtain his PhD in other to become the 2nd medical doctor in his house after his child.

Maria revealed on her Twitter account that her father had spent the last 4 years schooling while still retaining two full-time jobs. This according to her was a big inspiration as she declares her father as her cheerleader.

Naija News understands that Maria had become a medical doctor at the age of 23, while her father obtained his at the age 65 this year. Maria noted that Uloko had promised her when she obtained her doctorate that he will go back to school and earn his own doctorate, noting that she wouldn’t be the only ”doctor” in the family.

 

Sharing the happy story, Maria wrote: “My dad has spent the last 4 years getting his PhD while working two full time jobs. He did it because he didn’t want me to be the only Doctor in the family. At the age of 65, world, meet Dr. Emmanuel Uloko Loudly crying face my father, my biggest cheerleader and who I compare every man to.”

Reacting to her followers and netizens who congratulated her and the proud father, she added; “Wow, you all thank you so much for the kind words on my father.
