Former presidential aide and Nigerian book writer, Reno Omokri has revealed why Nigerians, especially the youths should join the ongoing face two of the #ENDSARS protest.

Naija News understands that Nigerians on Monday, December 7 again took to the streets of major state capitals including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja to protest against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), the disbanded unit of the Nigeria Police Force.

In his contribution to the outcry of the Nigerian citizens, Omokri took to his verified Twitter account to allege that the N297 million budgeted for Malaria treatment in 2020 is half the vehicle budget of President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to Omokri, seeing this in enough reason for Nigerians to join the #ENDSARS protest.

He tweeted: “Buhari’s 2020 feeding and travel budget is ₦3.2 billion”
“Buhari’s 2020 vehicle budget is ₦600 million. Meanwhile, #Buhari budgeted only ₦297 million for malaria treatment of 200 million Nigerians in 2020. Half his vehicle budget.”

“This is why you should join #EndSARS,” Omokri added.
